Long term birth control use? |
I started on the birth control pill 6 years ago when I was 17 to help ease the pain of endometriosis. It wasn't until about 7months ago that I was using it as a contraceptive. Oh yeah...blood clots. I forgot about that one. Thanks. Less chance of certain cancers There's the chance that you can get darker patches of skin on your body that can change shape and grow larger or smaller. I work in a pharmacy and this woman came in 4 years ago with a pretty big dark patch on her thigh and the pharmacist said it was probably because she was on the pill for 8 years. It's rare, but that would really stink to have that happen. |
