A brain in which a lot of neurons have died,& is long term dementic, needs revival. What nutrients can work? |
A 80 year old woman, my wife, lost her memory, in several minor strokes/events, and finally a heavy stroke, may be by a mosquito bite in Florida, in 1997.She was completely bedridden. She recovered to some extent by using Ginkgo Biloba Extract, and multivitamin with minerals tablets. She started recognising her kith and kin. She was given physiotherapy, to help her walk on her own. She did recover her balance and started walking, first with a walker and then on her own with a help by her side.Ginkgo caused her suppurating boils and so was abandoned. She now relies on mega doses of NATURAL VIT. E. and Natural Vit. C. and Phosphatidyl serine complex, & multivitamin complex with minerals, Zinc & seleneum. She is slowly losing her memory again- very slowly. YOU CAN GIVE HER VITIAMN B COMPLEX..... CARBS LOTS OF CARBS SAME EFFECT B12 SHOTS ARE THE MOST EFFECTIVE....CARBS ARE THE MEMORY FOOD WHY DO YOU THINK SO MANY DIABETICS HAVE MEMORY LOST... THE COMPLEX SUGARS IN CARBS ARE NOT EASILY BROKEN DOWN IF AT ALL AN SO THE BRAIN DOES NOT GET THE NUTRIENTS FROM THEM AND THAT PART DIES OFF... SO GET IT FROM WALMART.... SUPER B COMPLEX THE B12 SHOTS YOU MAY HAVE TO GET A DOCTOR TO SIGN OFF ON THOSE.... LOTS OF CARBS.... Marijuana. The brain cant really repair itself, especially in one so old There's nothing more that can be done other than finding an assisted-care facility. My father had a series of small strokes that led to Alzheimer's so we had to put him in assisted care. There's no meds that can cure your wife's condition. You can buy a book entitled Smart Drugs by John Morgenthaler. You can buy it used on amazon.com used for a few buck. also, get you wife to do things that are mentally stimulating..Cross word puzzles ect. Brain Tabs ,but consult a doctor before use Ginseng and Omega 3 tablets. |
