What are the long term effects with using B12 shots? How many shots a day or week is advisable? |
Should this treatment be under a Doctor's care? I get monthly B12 shots, for 15 years now. It helps maintain healthy red blood cells and it coats the nerves. Some doctors believe B12 is useless, but I believe the opposite. Check with your doctor. B12 SHOTS CAN MAKE YOUR FACE AS RED AS A BEET. don't think you can get the shots WITHOUT a doctor so... I'm pretty sure it should be - there are side effects to it like nasea, I don't know if there are major side effects. The body is supposed to produce B12 on its own, so the doseage depends on how much your body needs from lack of production. My dad used to get them periodically then he got really sick & it got overlooked until now. Now tommorow he's getting a 4 hour drip at the hospital. So I think you need a doctor to tell you how much you need. |
