Living healthy? |
I would really like to start eating, living more healthy. If you want to healthy, then you sould eat healthy foods like apples, oranges, drink Welches juices that are 100% real fruit juice. grains,vegetables!!!,lean meats,less sugar,dark meat,caffeine (it mess up your metabolism) drink lots of water.... Betty Crocker has a good cookbook called, "Vegetarian Cooking". Now, before you say you don't wannna go vegetarian, let me note that it also includes for most recipes directions on how to incorporate meat into them, too. So it's not really a vegetarian cookbook so much as it is a book about how to get more vegetables into your diet. Beyond that, I would urge you to eat more soup. Super healthy - low cal, low fat, lots of vegetables. For snacks try including more dried fruits and maybe some nuts in your diet. Watch out for granola bars, especially the chewy ones - some are very healthy (I like Nature Valley), but some can have a ton of fat and calories. Oh, and as much as you can, try not to drink calories (soda, juices). They're mostly sugar and, unless you're getting some fresh squeezed stuff, they don't really have much nutritional value.
