Living with person with Histrionic Personality Disorder.?

If you have lived with or are living with a person who has histrionic personality disorder, can you answer a few of my questions:
What is the most challenging aspect of the relationship?
Did it get better or worse with time?
How are/were you related to the person?
How old was the person?
How did it affect you?

I am facing a very severe problem due to someone close who has this problem and I would like to hear from others who have been there, or better still, make a few online friends to discuss this.

From what I know about personality disorders, diagnosis is IFFY and meds don't work.

I had a partner who did have a little Histrionic PD. I will NOT say he was HPD. People are not disorders.

He didn't get better or worse. But putting up with some things for me got increasingly annoying and irritating because I didn't know any professional methods to deal with his behaviours. He was 33 at the time.

I don't view Personality disorders the same way others will. I see them as just exaggerated traits that we all have. So it's your problem if you like them or not as long as nothing is illegal.
