Does any one have a story about living with a mole or birthmark?

I'm doing a project for anatomy on moles and bithmarks. We need a story from someone who is living with a mole and birthmark. So if your ok with me using it on my project please share your story with me. I will keep your name anonomous if you'd like.

My grandmother was washing my mother one day and couldnt get the "dirt" off her face. Til finally my Greatgrandmother replied, "I was wondering when you were gonna notice, thats not dirt on her face it is a Birth mark." It goes from her chin all the way by her ear and down her neck. I always feel sorry for my mom because she sits with her face toward a wall. Its not even that bad. My grandmother told me when my mom was a little girl/teenager she was so insecure she used to like boys but was always worried they wouldnt like her. She would sit with her hand on her face, nonchalantly, to cover it up and no one would notice what she was doing. My mother is beautiful to. But I always felt bad cause i know it bothers her. Its so faded you can hardly notice it really. But she puts make up on every day and she is still insecure about it.

I have one thats slightly iunder my jawbone.
I don't know exactly what kind of story to tell you. . .but they do look really cute when in the spot of a madonna/monroe

I was born with a birthmark on top of my head...so, I really haven't had to deal with it. I wish I could help you out more.

What kind of mole or birthmark?
I have both - but haven't really been affected by either.

I had this large hanging mole under my left eye n it got larger and larger with time... so much that i had a problem reading and all! We tried getting it cut... but it kept on growing.. finally we had to get it burnt! ouch...and now theres just a little light scar!!!

I have a mole on my forehead just above my right eyebrow.
As a kid i hated it. We all know kids can be pretty mean.
The most negitive response I have ever gotten was when i was 22 at a follow up appt with a general surgen. I had a lympnode biopsied and he was checking out my scar and healing process.
He asked if kids made fun of it, 'cause he could pop that mole off in one appointment.
I was pretty much speechless but managed to squeak out;
umm no, I really like my mole.
