What are liver spots.? |
am 24 can i have liver spots Liver spots are brown-black pigmentation that occur in those areas that are exposed to the sun like the back of the hands, forearms, shoulders, face and forehead. They occur because the skin produces extra melanin to protect itself from sun exposure. Generally people over 40 years get them. Liver spots are permanent but not medically dangerous, although sometimes they may mask skin cancer.
