Does anyone know if liver spots are cancerous or could it be something else,any experience with this?

LIver spots are not cancerous and they do not lead to cancer. You may also have red, scaly raised spots, actinic keratoses, if you've had lots of sun exposure.

If you are not sure your spot is a liver spot, please see your family doctor or a dermatologist to be sure. You may have a form of skin cancer: basal cell, squamous cell or malignant melanoma. It is always better to be safe than sorry.
