Spots on my liver?

My doctor sent me in for a sono to check for gullstones, he did not find any, but he did say they found 3 small spots on my liver. He didnt explain what they were or what causes it. Anyone have any ideas ?

well...prob nothing to worry about...hemangiomas are common..a birthmark sort of...also,fatty liver can cause this,in which a diet low on fat is followed....if doc is in doubt,they will CT scan and biopsy...

you may have liver hemangiomas. Do you have pain around the area?
