What does it mean when xrays show white spots on liver? |
Sorry I meant scan, showed up white spots on liver, Calcification of parts.It occurs generally along with calcification of pancreas.Localised single white spot rarely occurs as a sequel to small healed liver abscess.Well healed and cured miliary tuberculosis is another rare reason.Dont jump to hasty conclusions.We were taught that a rare diagnosis is RARELY CORRECT. White on an x-ray is bone, calcifications or contrast (barium). We don't do x-rays of the liver, though. I guess it might be a secondary finding on thoracic spine x-rays or chest x-rays. We use ultrasound or CT scanning to look at the liver. |

How big is the spot on the liver? Is this a primary or secondary cancer? What stage is the cancer? There seems to be more here than they are telling you.
