Do you know anyone who had breast cancer and did metasis to liver and back bone? |
My mom had breast cancer in 2005 and was in remission for about 9 months till we found out it came back but, this time in small portion of her liver and some spots on her back bone. Thank god it did not get near her bone marrow. Do you know anyone who had this and is doing well? My mom is responding great to the treatments, she's in her second round now. She's eating very good and hasn't lost any weight. Her white blood cell count isnt too low and isnt too hight. Thanks in advance for your answers! My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002 and it had already spread to her lungs and bones. The first 4 chemos knocked it out of her lungs and slowed the bone growths but it came back within 6 months and has spread to her brain. She is still here but the end it inevitable for her. I just thank God for every day that I have with her. Whe cancer matastisizes--gets in the bone--it's the beginning of the end...chemo at this point just extends the life...my MIL just passed away last week from it...spine and pelvis from breast cancer...she chose to quit fighting and was not sick from chemo during her last days so her "quality of life" was much higher...good luck to your mom. |
