Had a CT scan for bladder found a dark spot on the liver what could the dark spot on the liver be? dark spots, areas of low density, are much less likely than bright spots to be cancer. Differential is long, but most likely a vascular malformation or an abscess (if u aren't sick, it's most likely an old healed abscess). liver angiomata are fairly common. So are septic emboli from the gut, especially if u had surgery or have diverticulitis on occasion. If the spot was dark even with contrast, it's an old abscess. Lastly, could be parasite. Sorry...hope it's nothing bad...goodluck... Cancer maybe its a dead fly or other gross bug Could be cirrhosis or some other hardening of the liver. You should check with your doctor and have further testing; perhaps a liver biopsy. isn`t that something a normal person would of asked their dr. before leaving the office tumor, cancer, damage, internal bleeding. |
