A Very rare liver disease in newborns? |
hi, i have a have a friend who just gave birth to a baby boy and hes been hospitalized since he was 3 weeks old! His stomach has some kind of yellow fluid in it so the doctors have to take out the fluid everytime his stomach ''puffs'' up and the doctors say his liver is enlarged. His white and red blood cells are very low. they also say that what he has is very, very rare (and its now affecting his kidneys!!) and that every year only a few babies get it. does anyone have a clue what it could be?? I have no clue but I am so sorry to hear this. I will pray for this baby.. no but i dont think the child will survive long. Baby-jaundice. I had it when I was born, it has to do with bilirubin. |
