Detoxes that regeneraTE THE LIVER?

IF YOU HAVE LIVER DISEASE CAUSED BY BOOZE CAN MILK THISTLE HELP

your liver is regenrating all the time anyway, its one of the few organs that does.the fact of the matter is that if your still drinking and destroying it, your destroying will be faster then the regen and itll really be bad.
where im going with this is what stage of liver destruction are you in? are the whites of your eyes yellow? are you passing stools "normally"?is your hair falling out in clumps? if your all jaundiced and puffy, youll need to see the doctor, but seriously, if its in early stages (the afor mentioned were all late phases of liver disease) itll regenerate on its own, but quiting drinking (even just for a few years) will have an infinantly more profound effect than some milk thistle

liver disease caused by drinking is nasty and well probly kill you if you are still drinking .dont try anything if you are stile drinking .

No!
Try LIV52.IT's natural !www.harvesthealth.com

Milk Thisle may help, and so can Aloe Vera Juice with Cranberries juice, and if you can have it, some Ayurvedic formulas and medicine can actually CURE the ALD and prevent premature death. for details, write to: bliss7in@yahoo.co.in; or call +919815089977

Milk Thistle contains some of the most potent liver protecting substances known. Prevents free radical damage by acting as an antioxidant, protecting the liver. Also stimulated the produciton of new liver cells and prevents formation of damaging leukotrienes. Protects the kidneys. Good for adrenal disorders, inflammatory bowel disorders, weakened immune system, and all liver disorders, such a jaundice and hepatitis. Also beneficial for psoraisis.

As far as the body is concerned, alcohol is a poison. The toxic effect of alcohol on the liver is very serious. Excessive amounts of fat accumulate in the liver. The alcoholic may develop hepatitis and next cirrhosis of the liver. Alchohol is one of the toxins that the liver dosen't handle well. The liver cannot regenerate after being severly damaged by alcohol.

Milk Thistle has been shown in scientific studies to repair and rejuvanate the liver. Take 200 mg. of Milk Thistle 3 times a day.

To find out more go out and get the book "Prescription For Nutritional Healing" by James F. Balch, M.D., second edition. It lists several supplements you should use under the headings of Alcoholisim, Cirrhosis of the Liver, and Hepatitis. It would depend by you on how much damage is done to your liver or what you have been diagnosed with. This book is very easy to follow - I use it for everything. I give Milk Thistle to my husband for fatty liver caused by bad diet and I take it for adrenal function.

Good Luck.

not if your still drinking. also, milk thistle only helps lesson the burden on a diseased liver by anti-inflammatory properties.

it sure wouldn't hurt, but if you have a certain degree of cirrhosis, I'd check with the doctor first before trying the herb.

many don't understand that once you've gone to far with damage to the liver, just about anything can be dangerous because the liver does not filter the way a healthy one does.

*for the above posters, they are only wishing to get you to purchase their "cure alls" and there is no such thing!
