What types of food should one be eating liver problems?

mild liver disease with with some lesions

Fruits and vegatables. Stay away from fatty foods and don't eat too much protein, they require you liver to work harder.

I'd guess you should avoid high fat foods.
Also avoid alcohol.

DRINK LOTS OF WATER
THATS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING WHEN IT COMES TO LIVER AND KIDNEY HEALTH

My doctor told me to use FRESH lemons to make either lemonade (a 1/2 gal. pitcher a day) or to add fresh lemon juice to water as much as you can tolerate taste-wise.
He also said it would be best to use grade B maple syrup to sweeten it instead of sugar.
My liver levels are now back to normal after years of taking tylenol and ibuprofen on the job for back aches and headaches etc.
