Liver Cancer. How long does she have left ?

Mum was diagnosed with secondary liver cancer on friday. All we have been told is that they cannot do anything for her except prolong her life with chemo or radiotherapy and that it is terminal. This will kill her in the end. The initial tumour was a hormone related breast tumour that was removed via a mastectomy five years ago. Does anyone know what the prognosis is likely to be? It sounds like it is advanced but until later in the week I cannot find out what stage she is at.

Homeopathic treatment for Liver Cancer :-
1.SULFUR 30
2.BRYONIA 30
3.CARDUUS MARIANUS in Q (Mother Tincture)
4.CHELIDONIUM MAJUS in Q (Mother Tincture)
5.LYCOPODIUM 1M(1000)
Take remedy 1 and 2 thrice a day half hour before meals followed by 20 drops each of 3 and 4 half hour after meals together in a half a cup of hot water and take 5 after a week of taking the above regularly just one dose a week. Avoid Chocolates, Coffee, Mints and Red Meat while taking Homeopathic Medicines and avoid all foodstuffs, which gives you constipation at all costs.
If there is any ambiguity about the dosage or the potency of the medicine please ask me before doing anything.
And keep me posted about your progress at least every three days.
It would be better if you send me the details of the patient exactly the way he or she feels not the doctors diagnosis let the patient describe their own feeling exactly the way they are feeling, for an appropriate Homeopathic prescription
Take Care and God Bless you!

use super greens by innerlight.its methodology helped to create an alkaline enviroment in my pals wifes body which subsequently then saw the cancer dissapear after only 3 months.she was told by the typical medical world that it was untreatable and irreversable. Report It

As I understand it, liver cancer is very violent and life expectancy is usually very short. My mate had liver cancer last year and died within 2 months of diagnosis. I'm sorry.

don't be asking a question like that on here, its far to personal go and see some specialists, sorry for your trouble

I'm so sorry. The cancer has metastasized--spreading from her breast to her liver. All they can do is keep her comfortable with pain medication. She may have as little as a few weeks. I doubt more than that.

I'm terribly sorry to hear your sad news. First of all, I'd say to take any answer you get here with a pinch of salt: only the medical experts treating your mother will know how extensive your mother's cancer is and therefore what her life expectancy might be.

With that caveat, I'm sad to relate that in the only experience I had with secondary liver cancer (a friend's mother, spreading from the bowel) she lasted only a few weeks. But as I say, your mother's illness might not be nearly so advanced, especially if she is routinely checked because of her previous cancer - my friend's mother's bowel cancer was diagnosed late on.

Not good. Probably between 2-6 months at best. Once cancer metastasizes in the liver there in no cure. Only thing worse is brain cancer, which a person goes very quickly - usually under a 1 month. Enjoy the time you have left with her and make every moment count

My friends mum died last year from a similar thing but the cancer spread from her breast to her liver kidneys and she had 3 brain tumors she lived about 2 years after being told they could keep her comfortable with chemo radio and other drugs simlar circumstances too as she had a masectomy about 6 years earlier

I am so sorry to hear your terrible news, but its not about how long she has but just making the time she has left as special as possible. Enjoy your time together that's the main thing.

So sorry that your family has been stricken with this terrible disease. There's no easy way of putting it but the time may range from only a few days to a few weeks. If it's advanced it's unlikely to run into months but do try to be there for her and rest assured that many people will be thinking of you and yours.
Best wishes.

With the primary being breast, and the mets are in the liver, there may be others. I know a few people who went through this. If she is relatively healthy should could have as much as a year, if she is strong and a fighter, If she isn't it may not be long at all. No one really knows until the time is much closer, then nurses caring for her will be able o tell you if it is just a few days, or hours. The human spirit has a lot to do with this. I truly am sorry that your family has to deal with this at this time, there really is no good time to lose someone you love.

If cancer is in the liver, heart, brain, or lungs it's time to get your affairs in order. That means the end is near. Radiation and chemo prolong life's quanity not quality. The quality of life will go down the toilet, and the risk of infection will be high.

I'm very sorry to hear that. it must be really difficult for you. I don't mean to sound insensitive, but just make the times you have now the best you can, do everything you can to make her smile. try to make her happy , although it's tough, but also know when we die we don't really die but merely cross over to the other side, the spirit world & our soul never dies.
I feel very sad for you. wishing you a merry christmas.

my dad was taken into hospital last January, diagnosed tumour in stomach, they tried to remove it but discovered it was now starting in his liver we were told 6-12 months, he died 2 months later.

Sorry to read of your Mums illness try to help make her life special however long she has left. Hope everything works out for you and that you have a lovely Xmas.
