Terminal Liver Cancer?

My friend has terminal liver cancer. Now I have noticed he has lost weight and he is now feeling so exhausted that he can't do much of anything. is this a sign that he will not be with us much longer. He had one day he wasn't able to even get out of bed he was so exhausted.

Sorry to hear about your friend. Liver cancer is the worst, it makes the person feel exhausted, nausea, and generally crap! My mum was diagnosed with kidney cancer, which spread to her liver and lung. She pasted away sept 7. Mum was only sick 4 months but the last two she was basically bed ridden.. and if she wasn't in bed she was sitting on the couch. She felt too nausea and sick to do anything, and towards the end she couldn't walk due to lack of strength. She lost bladder and bowel control, everything was an effort even talking. I would say the number one thing you need to watch is his food intake. If he isn't eating i would say weeks.. Mum ate very little for three weeks, then couldn't 'face' food for two weeks before. all she ate was a few teaspoons of jelly each day. The liver tumours where extremely big more than 3/4 of her liver was cancer, she couldn't bear the thought of food. Towards the end the body doesn't need it, so we accepted that she didn't wont it rather than forcing it apon her. It was hard, because you think the body needs food and it will make them better but it doesnt. Mum was 67 kilos before she got sick, when she past away she was 40 kilos. It is a terrible terrible disease. My thoughts are with you and your friend.., xx

Fatigue is common esp. if he is taking chemo. Honestly you will see many more ominous signs. Change in skin color and swelling of the abdomen, fluid retention. You don't mention any of those very serious signs so I don't think he is at the end yet. Good luck to you both.
