Uncle had Liver Cancer but Died from a Heart Attack?

Ok so my uncle who was more like a father growing up had liver cancer. He was in the hospital for the past week bcuz it got bad. But on Saturday they were talking about what rehab to send him too when he is released. Well I got the call yesterday morning that he died. Not from the cancer but from a Heart Attack!! You have no idea how mad I am. I just dont understand how this could have happened. It feels like a jip - he wasn't in great health but still - a heart attack when there was no signs of heart issues at all.
Ok I am rambling - but seriously - WTF!!

How was this even possible???

He just turned 52 in December

the liver is one of the sponges/ filters of your body, between your liver and kidneys all the poison / waste is removed from your blood. as the liver and kidneys lose function it affects your whole body system.

if his liver cancer was not that advanced, it could be as simple as a heart attack. ive known a couple of people whos parents have passed overnight in their sleep due to heart attack when they were otherwise healthy, or about to be released from the hospital.

sorry...there are many stories of people going to doctor and getting excellent check up only to suffer a heart attack shortly afterwards...sometimes things happen for unknown reasons.....

I'm sorry for your loss.

It's actually very simple. When you live an unhealthy lifestyle, everything goes wrong at anytime. It's like an old car...you fix the engine, but then a week later, the radiator dies.

Even if he fixed his cancer and didn't die from a heart attack, he would have soon developed something else.

you don't mention his age....but heart attacks happen all the time, suddenly and without warning, and frankly, quite frequently when someone is hospitalized for something else. I understand your confusion and anger, it's part of the grieving process...but honestly, it happens all the time.
