Tendon Ligament injury? |
I have hurt the side of my foot and doctor told me it is a tendon ligament injury and should rest for about 2-3 weeks. However, i am a private hire driver and i'm pressing the clutch all day. Does this action make it worse? (My foot has not got better and its been 6 weeks) Sooo, you werent able to rest it I take it??You need to go back...may need a foot brace and or MRI..its pay me now or pay me later... I would recommend going to see a podiatrist to get the area re-evaluated. You may need to be in a small walking boot for a temporary period of time or a compressive ankle sock. You also may need to get orthotics to help balance out your feet do you don't overuse that part of the foot. Icing and Advil/Aleve helps also. It depends on what foot it is and which tendon is hurt, seemingly as you ask it's probably your left foot and if you can keep the foot immobilized, then it won't be so bad. Hope all of this helps! |
