Anterior Cruciate Ligament - need help? |
Ive heard of something called an ACL tear (Anterior Cruciate Ligament damage). I hear its one of the most painful, if not, THE most painful injury. Has anyone ever experienced one? In your most honest words (so i can sorta relate to what youre saying), how does it feel like? Does it hurt? Ligament damage is the most painful injury you can have because, imagine this: When there is a ligament tear or separation, there is no support for the bones or muscles. It is pure, unadulterated pain. The knees ACL is most painful because the knee is supposed to very flexible and does support most of the weight of your body. If there is a tear, any movement would cause extreme pain. Just imagine someone tearing a ligament from your bones. |
