Running injuries?

i have a problem standing up or straightening my legs after sitting down or bending them for a prolong period. the ligaments between the calfs and hamstring (on the outside) seems to be very tight and is painful. the pain go away after walking slowly for 5 mins. what should i do to cure this problem (about 1 month already). tried acupuncture but it only provide short term relieve.

Plenty of stretching and not just before you go running but when you wake up.

The best place for information on this would be here:

Tri Fuel is a site for triathletes BUT they have really good articles there and their forums are friendly. You'll get more opinions from people who also run.
