Joint problems? |
not sure if anyone has any other suggestions ASIDE from glucosamine chrondritin but here it goes: I think you have some type of autoimmune condition where the system starts to attack itself. I would go to a rhematologist who can properly diagnose. jumping to an autoimmune diagnosis is a little quick especially without performing a complete examination. It sounds like because of you increasing the intensity of your workout, you have injured yourself and not allowed sufficient time for your body to heal. i suspect you have noticed joint pain after working out and ignored it only to go and work out more. imagine breaking your arm and instead of casting it you decide to ignore it and use it anyway...i know this sounds silly but in essence that is what you are doing. Working out tears muscle and stresses tendons, ligaments and joint capsules. That's good other wise muscle and bones wouldn't get stronger, BUT for proper building you need a rest period for healing. With your body the whole no pain no gain mentality is really a bad idea to live by. nutrition wise a simple, balanced diet is the best. I do suggest however, and no this isn't a shameless plug, that you see a physical therapist. your problems are musculoskeletal (dealing with muscles, bones, and joints) in nature and could be movement related. Physical therapists are the musculoskeletal and movement experts. many people don't know that, but we are and we are specially trained and equipped to handle problems just like yours. good luck! |
