A sprain involves ligaments, while a strain involves tendons.Which injury would take longer to heal?

It depends on whether it is just stretched or if it's partially or wholly torn, but if the severity of the injury and the ability to keep the injured body part immoble for a period is equal, the healing time would also be more or less the same.
