Soooooooooo Frustrated....Wish u could help me with this =) Thank...?

friends, about a year ago i had injuries on my knee...it's ligament problems (somethings like ACL) and my bone (i think the bone's name was Fibula) have little breaks...
And right after th accident i had gips all over my leg..and i faced treatment for about 3 months.
it's better for a while...But during this year it starts to hurt again, the doctor give me a lot of treatment and medicine and injection to disappearing the hurt...sadly it only help for a while before hurt again...
i'm getting frustrated about this...
please, anyone who ever felt the same case like me would u share it with me how u handle that?
or maybe there's a doctor here who could give me advice?
i will really really really really thank u for ur answers =)

If you tore your ACL, you should have it replaced and fixed.
If you broke in to your knee joint, you may end up having arthritis, and if you can't get it under control with medicine, the next phase is that of knee replacements...
Currently there are half knee replacements, especially meant for those people who wore out half their knee, by say hurting the side by the fibula.
Go back to the orthopedic surgeon and get a bone scan or MRi to see what's going on.

hi
go to the doctor

sorry I can't help more, but I would go to
a different Dr. & tell him your situation ,
perhaps he has a better way to help you

good luck & hope you are able to find some help soon

I'd say you might want to get a second opinion. Not all doctors are the same.. Maybe accupuncture would help. Please understand the pain may never go away, but the ultimate goal is to get it the point that u can tolerate it.

I have had three wrist surgeries, the pain really didn't get tolerable untill years later, and alot of physical therapy

You should go to the doctor, my sister has its/ it happened about a year ago, and it was never really the same again. One day we were in school and rip! the ligament or whatever her problem was came apart again and she was in a **** load of pain. Had to be carried to the nurse by the teacher, then i had to carry her to the car - they took her straight to the hospital/ you should go to the doctor, no one hear can advise you.

I've had 4 operations to repair a crucial anterior ligament and ring cartilage damage caused by kickboxing bouts. I have been told that knee replacement is my only option left to end the pain and find relief. They also told me that they would not do this until I reached my 50's in age. I'm glad I am 53,but so far in the last three years,I have had minimal problems with the knee. So,I will hold off on that operation until I really need it.

Before you try anything else on your leg.. Get yourself a large aloe vera plant and chop it off put it in your blender and blend it into a liquid.. pour it into a bowl , take an soft wash cloth that is old and soak it in the bowl of liquid an lay it on your leg where it is hurting.. It relieves my arthuritis pain and heals any open sores you may have.. keep soaking it in this until the pain is gone.. should only take a couple of days for you to feel some relief..
I use mine all the time when you are done soaking pour the liquid into a jar or something you can seal..it will last about 2 weeks that way and you can just keep using it. the aloe plant will grow back.. for you to use again..
try it , this may be cheaper than going back to the doctors and expensive treatment.. i tried the shots for pain but didn't work but for a couple of days..
see what you think

i had to have my acl repaired...sounds like you need to have an MRI done to find out what all is going on. if your doctor won't do it, then go to another doctor. pain is there for a reason...you're hurt, obviously. so, if therapy, injections (usually cortisone), and medication haven't helped you out...then, again, it's time for the
MRI!!!! and, too many injections can make the joint deteriorate faster too...can only have one every few months, and as you've found out, it's usually temporary.

with knee injuries we usually end up with arthritis also, and this can cause pain. i've had problems with my tibia...below the knee cap! but, also my patella (knee cap) dislocates) i'm looking at having a knee replacement at 42 years old! i stress you going to another doctor if you're not satisfied with the one you have now, or if he will not listen to you and your pain! letting the pain go, only makes the injury that much worse, and you can injure something else with your unstable knee...like your back, for instance!

take care!!!
