I need help from any nutrients, personal trainers please!?

I'm 14; 5'5, 135 pounds, I need to gain weight;
My questions:
Is it a normal weight for my age and height?
I need to gain weight for football, I don't want to gain fat just get thicker, I have enough muscle, but really nothing around it making me thick so I'm pretty skinny and easy to be hit, I'm a running back, I was told to gain weight by my coach so I can prevent more injuries, I tore few minor ligament's because I got nothing over my muscle...
Any Suggestions How I Could Safley Gain weight?
Any free websites with maybe a plan of what to eat?
Any websites that could help>

Gaining weight is not going to prevent injuries unless you build more muscle and strengthen tendons and ligaments in the process. You can take in more calories then you're burning off if you want to gain weight. You can also weight train to build more lean mass. I wouldn't just bulk up though. Try weight training and increasing your food intake. You might even consider protein shakes as a way to help.
