Life support? |
My neibors is on life support and leaving a young wife and a 4 year old autistic child and a 7 year old dautar so what exicaly is life support, and if so what are the rules of it and he is being tooken off life support this weekend what do they do when they do this. They have him on a breathing machine to keep him alive. Rules vary depending on where you live. Usually the family can make the decision to remove life support. Removing life support either means trying to let your own lungs kick in by shocking them or you'll die LIFE SUPPORT MEANS A MACHINE THAT BREATHES FOR YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO BREATH FOR YOURSELF. THE DOCTORS USUALLY TAKE PEOPLE OFF OF LIFE SUPPORT IF THEY KNOW THERE IS NO CHANCE FOR MEANINGFULL RECOVERY. THAT MEANS HE WILL NEVER BREATH ON HIS OWN. THEY FEEL THAT IT IS ONLY KEEPING HIM SUFFERING. |
