Would u want to die if you were on life support?

if i had to live the rest of my life on a breathing machine like my grand mother i wouldnt want to live she died 2 years ago but before she did she had to have a tracheotomy and have a machine breath for her she couldnt leave bed she couldnt talk she was so sad i visited her every week but it made me cry each time (and im a guy)

I wouldnt want to be kept alive if machines had to do it. I can see for awhile , but not permanently, or if I was in a coma for a long ,long time.
I too have seen relatives suffer, and I do not want to be like that! It is sad...and whether you're a guy or not it hurts.....You are very caring, and didnt like to see her hurting. You are a very compassionate person.Best wishes!

I have had 3 family members...not all on life support...but had long, drawn out illness's. It is a hard thing to handle. Best to you! Report It

i would not want to live if i was on any kind of machines to keep my organs going. i wouldnt be living my life any more and i wouldnt see the point either. i wouldnt want to live on machines because just like it hurt u, i wouldnt want to see my family upset over that.
