A friend is in a coma with what I have been told Massive hematoma on life support what is the prognosis? |
He was walking out of a store and started to become disoriented and could not remove his hand from his pocket things just got worst now he is in a coma unable to breathe is there a chance for recovery or is this the end? there are a lot of factors... friend's age, prior health, location of brain bleed, etc. continue to visit friend and pray for them. It is true that people do "feel and hear" even in a coma! so be careful and do not discuss his situation in front of him... be sensitive and take discussion into the hall. good luck. I think that this might be the end, but people get out of comas all the time, and don't lose faith the person thats in the coma needs you dont give up dont give up. There's always a chance for recovery,no matter how dim. However, this is... fairly dire. I'm sure someone will be along with a much more thorough explanation. It depends on where its at and his general health, people can hear us when they are in a coma so don't give up.Ask questions outside of his hearing and take care of yourself during this crisis. |
