Head lice! please help!? |
k well i got head lice and i have very thick hair and now its hard to take them out...my moms brushing them with thsi speacial comb or something but i have too many! what should i do? my moms planning to cut my hair right now at my house cuz we think that the hairstylist wont cut hair that has lice in it..and then my mom got the shampoo for lice and im going to put it in my hair after i cut it and do u think it will hopefully get out? i mean school is about to start and i cant have lice in my hair and also on wednesday im going to chicago to hang out with my cousins..so i cant have lice!!!!! please if u ahve any advice i need it! thanks ive never tried this Vinegar... put it in your hair cover it in a shower cap or glad wrap.. leave it in over night then rinse it out.. evey day for a few days comb your hair with a fine tooth comb to pull out the dead lice and nits. Try putting vinegar all over your hair and then putting a covering on over it like a plastic hair covering (like the ones that keep your hair from getting wet). Leave it on for 24 hours and then wash it out. After that, have your mom use the special comb to get rid of the dead bugs and nits (eggs attached to your hair). Make sure she goes through all of your hair, combing it out in very tiny sections so she gets them all. Make sure you also wash all your bedding, towels, etc, so you get rid of any lice that might be on there. Also if you have any stuffed animals around that might have gotten lice or nits on them, put them in plastic bags and tie the bags up and leave them in the bags for two weeks...that gives any lice on them a chance to die. Hope this helps. yes cut hair and use the comb also with the shampoo. then make sure all the blankets pillow cases are washed it is very hard to get rid of. |
