Mayonnaise Lice Solution? |
I am battling lice in my household. A friend told me she heard of using mayonnaise to kill the lice. She said to saturate the affected head and leave it on for about a half an hour and then wash it out. The mayo is supposed to suffocate lice and nymphs. I like this idea because this would be a non-toxic solution. Worked for us... We'd tried olive oil, tea tree oil, coconut shampoo... IT WORKS !!! my daughter when in grade school had really long hair and we used this and it worked - I was so afraid after using prescription and over the counter stuff that we would have to cut her long beautiful hair - but the mayo trick worked !!!!
