wat kills lice.... will chlorine, alcohol??? idk wat to do pleez help!!!

You can go to your local drug store and pick up some medicated shampoo made especially to kill lice, that comes with the comb. You should avoid using certain products, such as alcohol, etc., as this could damage your hair and/or your scalp. You can also pick up lice spray, which is used to disinfect your furniture, etc.

Tea tree oil will take care of them.

They sell a product called RID rub it in like a shampoo and leave it on per directions and it will kill them. Some people forget you don't just have hair on your head, lice can travel your whole body, eyelashes, eyebrows, armpits, genitals etc, so be very thorough and also wash all bedding in hot hot hot water.

Be prepared to fight a long battle. Adult lice and immature lice are pretty easy to get rid of, but their eggs are much harder to get rid of, and it is with these that the most problems crop up. People can think that they are rid of lice, but then get another case of lice from just a couple of eggs. Constant vigilance will be necessary to win this battle.
Get a good nit comb and thick conditioner and find a room with lots of light. Good nit combs are metal and typically cost ~$12 or more (e.g. LiceMeister or Nit Free Terminator comb). Without a good nit comb you will not be able to remove the eggs. Sit the subject down on a firm chair and cover the neck and upper body with a towel to prevent too much mess.
Look for the living adult lice, which have pinchers in front, and scuttle around. The small, white "crawly" things are the little immature lice and the white/brown microscopic things attached to the hair shaft are the eggs.
Disperse thick conditioner thoroughly through the hair of the affected person. Doing so will make the hair silky and much easier to comb through with fine tooth combs, and will also loosen the eggs so that they slide right off the strands.
Separate and clip the hair up into four sections and start combing, stopping to wipe the lice and eggs on a towel every few strokes. Continue until all the sections are done.
Repeat, wash the combs, and start again. You should comb through the hair until not a single egg or nit shows up! This will probably take an hour or so.
Pour a cup of white vinegar into a pitcher of water. Vinegar is also supposed to help loosen the eggs. Wash the hair out with the vinegar rinse and then with water.
Clean all of the infected person's contaminated belongings: clothes, towels, and bedding will need to be washed in hot water, and their mattress and room vacuumed thoroughly. Use the hottest setting on the dryer and dry for the longest time you can without harming the fabric.
Wait a day, and then repeat the process, sitting down, putting in the conditioner and combing through the hair. You could be be surprised after the last comb-through that the little parasites are back; although if they are, they should be back in greatly decreased numbers.
Again, comb through the hair until not one of the lice shows up. Repeat again. And again. And yet again. Usually two weeks will pass until all the lice are gone.

I have found pouring vegetable oil on the infected heads and covering the head with a shower cap kills the bugs.Clean your environment with vinegar based products and wash every thing in hot water .. make sure you see the bugs , it could be something else like Morgellons

Over the counter lice treatments work in most cases. READ THE DIRECTIONS OR IT WONT WORK!!!!!Make sure to use it again in 2 weeks, I dont belive anything else works Alcohol or chlorine.

there are lots of stuff that will kill them. the problem is the eggs. your NOT going to get them all out. Get a RID kit and some baby oil. use the kit( you can use any lice kit really with the comb) after the hair is dry put baby oil on the hair and put it up if its a girl. the reason????? the eggs will hatch but will not have any way to eat and will starve and die. you need to get a biiig trash and put pillows un cased and then the cases in there and in a deep freezer. this will kill any eggs or lice on them. 24 ours will do it. also id do the sheets and the last few clothes worn. keep the oil on the " victoms" hair for at least 3 days to give the eggs time to hatch and die. you can comb a boys hair and make it look like jell.lol. it realllys works. good luck.

You will need to treat this infestation wherever it is with some medications easily found in all pharmacies,and stores like Wal-Mart etc. First of all are you sure it's lice ?The easiest and most safe and effective will be Lindane comes in a lotion cream and shampoo,not suitable for children,another is products containing "pyrethrin" that's OK for kids and comes in different forms.Ask or call your Pharmacist. You will need to re-treat the area's in ten days. Wash bed linens and towels in hot water and use a hot dryer temp.Anyone with skin to skin contact should be treated as well.DO NOT use chlorine bleach on your skin its caustic and breathing fumes can cause lung irritation esp,around kids.Alcohol is also ineffective .Take care . also, it's going to sound disgusting but put mayonnaise all over your hair for maybe 2-4 hours at a time. it will smell HORRIBLE but it should work. Wash out with regular shampoo. Your hair will be EXTRA EXTRA shiny/smooth. But be careful because the oils might clog face pores. VERY messy, but a effective way.
