Is there any way to get rid of lice with out the special shampoo stuff (like RID)? Unfortunately, no. You have to make sure that you wash EVERYTHING in hot water (stuffed animals, sheets, brushes) and you should have someone look through your hair for nits (eggs) and any lice that are still alive. Natural sunlight is the best light to use. It's the only way to get rid of them. It's more of a pain than anything. You can smother them with baby oil, but you have to leave the baby oil on the head, completely covering every hair, for an hour. Then rinse, wash, and rinse rinse rinse (baby oil's very difficult to get out). Use rid! It is most effective why wouldn't you want to get RID of them A.S.A.P!? Use RID because that's the only brand that works.....i would do it twice....it helps if you have someone help you so you dont miss any. You can do RID and cut your hair too!! That will help also. Also wash everything in hot water....toss your brushes and buy all new hair stuff.....get lysol spray and use that too. you need to use rid or nix buy the spray for the linen to you have to wash your hair and then after you finished that you have to have someone pull all the eggs out use fingernails and then use the special comb repeat in 10 days Purell Shampoo and 3 tablespoons of olive oil, mayonnaise is another option. |
