Lice problem.? |
ok. i came over my friends house. but we didnt know she had lice. a girl in our school in her class (shes not in the same class as me) had lice and sat next to her. and friday was the last day of skool till feb vaca so she must have gotten it from her. and mii head isnt that itchy i think im just itching it just for the thought of it. my dadd and mom checked my hair. they said i had nothing but idk. when my friends parents checked her hair cuz it was itching like hell they didnt see anything at first but then they did. im rly scared. and wen i came over her house i was kinda attacing her and pulling her hair and all and we were jumping ontop of eachother. is it possibal to still not have lice. my friend found out she had lice just today If you do have lice - it is very treatable and you will be okay, so take a deep breathe and repeat "it will be okay" You wont die, and nothing to be ashamed of, either. It happens when in contact with one that has it. Explain the situation to your parents, and have them check you daily for at least a week. If no lice by then, you wont have them. There are over the counter lice shampoos. Get one and have your parents go through your hair with the little fine comb that comes with it just to be sure. You could have lice, you might not. If you do, it really isn't a big deal. You can get special shampoo at the store to get rid of them, and you have to be careful with your pillows and stuff to make sure they don't have lice on them so you don't get them back on you. Just have your parents check your hair again carefully, especially if you get a really itchy head. Yes, you could still get lice...have your parents continue to check your hair and wash all of your clothes and coat that you wore over there in hot water and dry them in a hot dryer. If you sat on your bed when you got home wash your bedding the same way. Make sure you vacuum your carpet too. You could have carried some of the eggs home with you. They actually last longer than the lice itself and can hatch at a later time. If you are still worried I would go to the drug store and buy the lice shampoo kit and use it. Lice is very hard to get rid of once you have it. So, if you think you might, I would be cautious but don't be scared it is treatable. just have mom keep checking o-Kay look on the shaft behind the ears and on the nap of the hair linting if white little spots like dots and cant be pulled out from strands than , starts to each its time to get quell lice shampoo everyone needs to do it in the house vac rugs and couch and chairs wash everything in the past couple days off clothes in hot water blankets linens and throw out vac bag put it in a plastic bag and tie it tight and all fug stuff toys bag and seal for about a month, you can go on line to and read about it just information on lice This is one reason you should NEVER use anyone else's brush or comb. you'll probably have lice. It's not the end of the world, and if you don't want to go with pesticides, try tea tree oil shampoo. Buy that, and some tea tree oil (dark brown glass bottle only, at the health food store) and add ten drops to the amount of TTOil shampoo you'd use. Lather it up and leave it for 15 minutes. Then continue to use the TT oil shampoo at least every other shampoo for a week, and do the 10 drops thing a week after the first time. It stinks so rinse well and condition to cover the smell, but it's natural and pesticide free. ok just reading this made my head itch lol. There is a possibility you may get it. No worries, coz these thing you can get rid easily. Just buy shampoo over the counter for lice. and also wash all your bed sheet with warm water around 60 C degree, that will kill lice and the eggs. |
