I have lice and its so frustrating please help me!!!!?

I have had lice for about a month and i tried using RIDs and NIX and i use a lice comb a lot but they just won't go away!!!! could someone please tell me how to kill the lice bugs and the eggs!!

Try the mayo treatment. It worked on my step daughters.....BUT, I do not believe the claim that medicated shampoos cause brain damage......Most of us would be brain damaged at this point if that were true!

"Medicated lice shampoos are often ineffective and may cause brain damage in children if left on head even ten minutes longer than manufacturer's recommended time. Mayonnaise costs much less, it's completely safe, and it will kill all lice on the head as well as their nits (eggs). Plus it's a great conditioner! To kill (actually smother) head lice completely, follow these simple instructions:
Step 1
Saturate hair completely with Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise, Best Real Mayonnaise, or Kraft Real Mayonnaise. Be sure to work the mayonnaise in the hair and roots well. Hair MUST be extremely greasy from the mayonnaise to prevent lice from breathing.

Step 2
Wrap hair as tightly as possible with Saran Wrap or Handi-Wrap (or a shower cap), then wrap with a towel.

Step 3
Allow to remain on head for at least one hour. Two hours will guarantee all the lice are dead. During this time take all pillow cases, towels, blankets, sheets and clothes that have come into contact with any lice-infested hair and run them through the washing machine and dryer.

Step 4
Shampoo hair thoroughly. Rinse hair with Heinz White Vinegar, then rinse clean with water. Comb hair with a nit comb if desired. No nits should survive this treatment if done properly.Congratulations! You're done! There's no need to repeat the treatment in seven days as with medicated shampoos. Don't worry about any lice that may have escaped during the treatment. Lice die within 12 to 24 hours without a human head to feed on and, contrary to popular belief, they cannot jump nor will they transfer to your pets."

Also make sure you treat your brushes, bedding, backs of upholstered chairs, backs of seats in cars, stuffed animals, carpets....etc

"***Washing your bedding and clothes in very hot water will get rid of head lice if you've come across an infestation.
***To get rid of head lice infestations, thoroughly vacuum places where people rest often."

Good luck......it is tedious and a pain in the butt!

I had the same problem with my daughter the over counter shampoos dont work so I got a perscription from the doctor and the stuff worked great I dont remember the name but it started with an o its the only thing that worked the home remedies I tried didnt work for her either. Good Luck.

lice is a difficult thing to get rid of first use the rid then you'll need to have someone pick the nits out of your hair because the comb won't get them all. the nits grow into bugs of coarse and a full grown lice can lay 6or 7 eggs a day i have 3 girls and they all had it we fought it for several months nit picking every day

when my daughter had it a long time ago i took her to the doctor and they perscribed some medicine for it
and it worked.

Use Yellow Litsterien it stinks but cover your hair in it place a plastic cap or bag over top for about and hr and then rince out repeat in 7 days wash all bedding pillows pillow cases and towels and clothes youve used in hot water throw pillows boil hot water and put your bruch and pony tails hair clips ect in it for about 10 mins vaccume bedding couches floors and chairs make sure noone else in the house has lice and that if they do the same things are done for them

shave your head bald, then wash every thing your head comes in comtact with( sheets, pillows, bedding) then go buy
bug bombs for lice or bug bombs that kill lice. follow directions on can. lice don't like dirty hair, start washing hair every 2-3 days, then use some vasaline arround the edge of your scalp when hair regrows it will help keep lice away . personally all that hair stuff dont work anyway.
