What is lice?

have you ever seen lice coming out of someones skin? my grandmother told me a story that her friend was dead and saw lice coming out of his skin....was that really lice?
Where did it develop? im pretty sure that it started 4r m someguy and that guy infected a lady, who infected her child, and her childs schoolmates ect.
well if you have any storys like that please share..

lice live in your hair. scabies live under the skin. never heard of them "coming out" of someones skin after death.
