Head lice...please help?

i am 20 years old and a few weeks ago i found out that my friends little boy had lice, i just got of the shower and was brushing my hair and a lice bug was in my brush!!!!!!!!!!! someone please help...what should i do until tomorrow when i can get some RID????????? also my mom has cancer what can i use to treat the house without making her sick???

okay i know this sounds absolutely crazzyy and gross but it works....trust me RID DOES NOT WORK!!!!!! When i was in 4th grade, there was an out break of lice in my school almost everyone had it. We tried EVERYTHING, the comb that shockes the lice and kills them, rid, home remedies, even went to a doc.....until my mom's neice told us to slather my hair in olive oil and leavce a shower cap around it for approximately 4 hours. This smuthers them. Also you will need a comb to thouroughly remove eggs that may be located around the back of your head, and your ears. Also, you may prefer to do this...this work really good and it makes your hair unbelievable soft, instead of olive oil you can use mayonaise...i know it sounds awful but it really works!!! i promis you, this is the only way to get rid of those wretched bugs.....also i know that dying your hair will kill them because of the high ammonia content in hair dyes...just be sure to get the lice comb and comb your hair EVERYDAY

wash your bedding in hot water and i know that they have bedding spray to rid of lice.....i don't know if that will make your mother sick...i sure hope not....i am sorry about your mom, my dad died of cancer when i was 16 so i know how you feel
