Leukemia ? |
Has anyone experienced leukemia with a normal white cell count?? No. That would be impossible. Even if the total white blood count fell within normal range, the differential count would reveal 0 of every type. The white blood cells are all misformed. So, even if the person was in an early enough stage that the total was in normal range, the counts would not be normal at all. The WBC can be normal. The differential (breakdown of the types and number of WBCs) would not be normal however as a rule.. one exception can be very, very early CLL (chronic lymphocytic leukemia) before the lymphocyte count has risen much (of course you would have to stumble on this disease at this point serendipitously). |
