Do i have leukemia?

jus about 2-3 months ago...i jus had a blood test and de results shown that i had a very good blood count...my red blood cells and platelets are all very good...does this mean i have leukemia or smth like tt?

This means you don't have leukemia.

Leukemia is cancer of the blood, if you had a blood test then this means they would have been able to detect the condition. You have nothing to worry about.

Leukemia symptoms are bruising easily and tiring very easy. I had a friend die from leukemia who fought it for 6 years, so I know a little about it.

You sound like a healthy person, don't worry!

In leukemia, your white blood cell count (WBC) would be markedly elevated, perhaps anywhere from 3-4 times the upper limit of normal, to as much as 100,000 cells per cu.mm. The upper limit of normal for the WBCs varies some from one laboratory to another, but is typically about 10,800.

Also, in leukemia, your would probably be anemic, which is to say that your hemoglobin, hematocrit and RBC (red blood cell) count would be below normal. The platelet count might also be affected.

So, if your hemogram (blood count panel) is within normal limits, it is unlikely that you have leukemia.

Well if your blood test results are any indication, it sounds like you are perfectly healthy.

No, this does not mean that you have leukemia. When I was diagnosed with leukemia I had almost no blood cell count at all, no red or white blood cells. So since you have a good blood report you have no possible way of having the disease. You are so lucky. Just thank God that you don't. It is a horrible cancer to have.
