CUres for Leukemia? |
can u list cures for leukemia please..its for a project..just a few cures Bone marrow transplant along with chemotherapy There is no cure. The only possible cure is a stem cell or bone marrow transplant. It cannot be labeled as an official cure because bone marrow biopsies cannot detect the single cancer cell. Young adults in good health other wise have great prognosis today compared to even 5 years ago. The numbers are so low on the statistics though because the majority of patients are the very young or the very old, neither of which can tolerate the harsh chemo treatment or transplant. there are no cures only treatments.
