Leukemia childhood cancer survivors? (ALL)? |
Any childhood leukemia survivors? I've been wondering about the results of treatments in our young adult years. Wondering if there is anyone else out there like me. I have a friend who is a childhood leukemia survivor. She has dealt with it since she was very young and is 20 now. She has done very well. I can't say this will help you in any way. However, I too am a cancer survivor. I am a 5 year survivor of Ependymoma which is brain and spinal cord cancer. There are other survivors out there. I suggest perhaps you check http://www.cancer.org They can assist you in finding people who are in a situation similar to yours so that you can talk. They can also put you in touch with survivors who share their stories. Hope this helps. There may be some studies on that. Look around in this site, because it has really good info; I no some kids who have cancer die because I had a 4 year old cousin who died because of leukemia that's all I no about it. |
