Leukemia question?

i have stage 2 Leukemia and iam 15

how did i get it?
will it get better?
ill i die?
why dose so much pepole get it?
can i go 2 school when i get better

i have no hair nooooo!!!!

I am also 15. I also have leukemia.

1.) Nobody knows.
2.) Maybe. If you have hope, that really does help.
3.) It's always a possibility, but do your best to not think about it.
4.) Once again, nobody knows.
5.) Yes, maybe. For a lot of the times when I was really sick, I had to do homeschool packets to catch up. But now I go to school. I am in grade nine, because I am all caught up.

My mom has been diagnosed a few years ago and underwent chemo. She's ok for now and we thank God.

I don't think doctors know the causes for Leukemia. By the way, what type do you have, Chronic or the Acute or something else? I've heard that pollution/water contamination..living near gas stations, lead , stuff found in spray paints and other stuff could lead to this disease.

I will certainly pray you get better. Why not? Of course you could. Think POSITIVE and pray to God and Holy Mary for help and patience. You will get through this. You're young and strong.

I don't know why so many people get it..it might have to do with pollution, genetics..who knows. The idea is that it is treatable.

Your doctors will tell you when you can go back to school, after the treatments.

Best wishes! From my family's experience..we've decided to change our food/drink habits. We try to eat ORGANIC products, free of pesticides and hormones (Wholefoods Supermarket Chain of stores). We use a water filter or buy purified water. We try to eat more fruit and veggies. Anything to keap the body cleaner.
