Leukemia help?

My Grandmother has a very dangerous form of Leukemia (The most violent, aggressive form possible) and she is in dire health, her docter has given her about 6 months to live.

My question is if anyone knows of ANY research firms or Medical institutes that can help her, we would travel any lengths to try and help her.

And in case your wondering we live in Cedar Grove Wisconsin.

Thank you very much.

Well first of all, I want to give my gratitude to you and your family, as Leukemia is a very hard felt cancer.

My girlfriend has Leukemia and when she was first diagnosed, we were trying to find the best pediatrics hospital to deal with the cancer, as none around here were of much help.

After a lot of searching, we made a last ditch effort and actually asked the doctor working with us, and he was very helpful in giving us information on the top Pediatric hospitals in the nation.

My best advice would be to ask your doctor or any other professional for information or locations and how to contact any research firms.

I know from knowledge that John's Hopkins University in Maryland has one of the best Medical institutes in the nation and has a great cancer research facility. You may want to google or wikipedia John's Hopkins and see what options are available to you.

Hope this helps.
