What kind of cardiac excerise can i do when my leg is injury ?


i injury my leg and my doctor tells me not to walk much for another 3 to 4 months. at the meantime i am gaining weight and can't do much. what kind of excerises can i do to lose weight. I want to do cardiac excerise not lifting weights.

As long as your doctor hasn't said to "rest and keep the leg elevated", riding a stationary bike and swimming will both give you a good work out without putting strain on your injured leg.

If it causes pain to do either of these, I would stop doing them as to not make your leg worse.
