What causes fever & swelling in a persons leg.? |
The fever is only in one leg.No injury. OK...I will keep this as concise as can. I have Kidney stones and Cancer....we had thought that it was something called "Stasis Dermatitis" and my legs would booth fever and swell..now they are looking at it different ly. I can wear nothing on my feet sometimes..I have a ureter obstruction and ...well it feels like more than one....thus water retention is paramount and painful. One person said blood clots...Look...I am NOT a doctor...I am as stymied as you...i simply know that this is for a GP and probably a referral to a specialist as it has been for me and we re not even through with the DX on me...so it is unsettling and frustrating. Please see a doctor right away.....take care of you fast! YOU MATTER..... I am plugging along now for three years of MRI's and cat-Scans.....I WILL find out what it is from.....besides, who else Will look good in my shoes? I keep my humour here but it is no laughing matter. Often lately I have had to carry my shoes in my hands into stores to prove I have them and cannot wear them.....my legs, the right especially is like a tree trunk and I am petite. Genrally Kidneys show it first, Get your Cistatin C levels tested. If you fail elswhere check if Ranbaxy labs can do it for you. As for the treatment, If Serum Creatinine is less than 3 Take a Multimineral MUltivitamine (that contains most of them - Vit-12 & Min-18) with a Table Spoonful of Lemon Juice dessolved in a glass of water, at least three times a day at almost equal intervals. |
