I need to exercise, but I can't walk due to a left knee and leg injury. What can I do? Please help.? |
I am 70 and had my leg and ankle broken when I was in H.S. How about a stationary bike? I am on my best behavior, or I would suggest other ways of burning calories! How bad is the injury? If it's serious than I recommend you don't exercise, it could be dangerous. If it's just a sprain I'd still recommend not exercising, don't make your injury worse than it is. my grandmother is a brittle diabetic with multiple leg and back problems. Her doctor recommended a stationary bike or a mobile tricycle and water aerobics. as both are low impact. The water aerobics are especially good because the water gives you buoyancy and there is little to no impact on the joints. |
