I have a lump on my right leg after an injury, I need GOOD advice.?

About a month ago, a girl hit me with her fieldhockey stick when she tried to drive the ball, but hit my leg instead, if this would affect anything, I kept playing. After a month, I still have a slight bruise and this lump. The lump doesn't hurt, but time to time my upper hip does hurt, but I think that pschology is taking over. I keep trying to talk to my mom, but she won't listen. I now am having dreams in which I get my leg amputated because of it. I take my dreams seriously, so this scares me. I keep saying it will go away in two weeks but it doesn't. What should I do? If you have any idea, what is it? I know it isn't a tumor or anything, but I'm worried it is a blood clot.

Hello there how are you? If you are worried I would suggest you visit your regular doctor. Usually symptoms of blood clot include pain, tenderness, redness around the area affected and swelling. But if you are worried, it wouldnt hurt to visit your doctor, its better to be safe than sorry. Obviously, this is worrying you , especially if you are dreaming about it. So maybe just tell your mum that its worrying you and to take you to the doctors :) I am sure you will be fine, its probably just the effect of the bruising :)

You could very well have a blood clot. I honestly do not think swelling would last that long, treated or not. I would suggest going to the doctor for treatment. Allow the doctor to do tests or x-rays so they can find out what is wrong. It is better to be safe than sorry.

its probably something very minor just go to the doctor best advice i can give you

Sometime bruising and swelling take quite a while to go away. IT will go away, stop worrying. If it really bothers you, see a Dr to ease your mind. You will feel so much better after your reassured. http://onlineinvestigations.info

My sister twisted her ankle and it also had a lumpy bump for over two weeks, it actually got a little worse BUT she went to the doctor and it was just swelled!
Since your Mom wont listen to you, show it to her and tell her that swelling shouldnt stay that long and it doesnt even hurt, so it could be a blood clot! Tell her about your dreams if you havent already!

Good Luck with your leg.
