What can cause pain in the leg bone from below the knee down the pain is terrible, notheg helps? |
the pain was only when I was off my feet, but has started hurting when I am on my feet no injuries to that leg, pain is only in right leg. Nothing seems to help, darvaset helps some but dose not take the pain away. Could be what is known as shin splints. You should see an orthopedist. If you can't, I'd ice it and apply a heating pad alternately, rest it, and take an anti-inflammatory medication like Alleve or Motrin (the store brands work just as well, just read the active ingredients to be sure you've got the same meds). Doctors often put shin splint patients in kind of a soft walking cast to keep the muscles in front of the lower leg relaxed. I hope this helps. If after a few days the pain doesn't subside you should really see a doc. in case it's something more serious. |
