Ongoing leg pain? |
i had an injury to my both legs, a little over 2 yrs. ago, (they were crushed at work, the left one worse, i had surgery on the afeccted leg in 06' left me with a d.v.t. for 10 mos. while on the coumadin the dosage was increaded and not monitored for a month, which resuled in burst blood vessels in my left eye, had 3 eye surgeries and laser surgery to clear that up (permanent damage in the eye now)but still i suffer from chronic pain syndrome from the leg accident, i'm on meds for the pain, but still to this day 25 months later, i'm still having problems, is there anyone out there that may have ever had any thing like this, and did u get any help or relief from the on going pain ???? I think you are taking about complex regional pain syndrome in your leg? I have CRPS/RSD (I believe it is very similar to chronic pain syndrome). What treatments have you tried besides medications for this pain? One suggestion may be a spinal cord stimulator. My SCS has given me 100% pain relief (at least when it works, I have problems due to my rare keloid scarring condition), but my SCS has been one of the best things for my chronic leg pain. Good luck! This link should help you |
