Would a knee injury make your leg swell all the way to your toes?

Would a knee injury make your leg swell all the way to your toes?

It very easily could, if there was periosteal injury ...but sounds like you need to have the injury evaluated and given proper care.

It could, it depends on what type of injury.

Yes it could mean that you are retaining fluid. Go to the emergency room of your local hospital now as it could lead to more serious problems.

ya! my grandpa got knee surgery and his whole leg swole up! so that i think is pretty normal.

It might. The circulation might be cut off, or restriced, because of the swelling of the knee. Just ice and elevate it and the swelling should go down.

if you haven't been to the doctors you really should go because unless you know for a fact what you did to your knee and that you were aware of hitting it on something It might be a broken hip No Kidding, My daughter at age 12 complained of her knee hurting her for a week and often complained that her toes felt bad as well. i kept giving her tylenol because of the limp she constantly had. Low and behold I got worried cause the limp wasn't going away and we took her to the hospital and she had all these other problems because she had a broken hip.if you are in your teen years then that might be your problem as well .The doctor told me that her hip was growing faster than her leg bone or something and that the leg bone was hitting everytime she walked so it would be wise if you aren't sure that you actually hit your knee to get to a doctor's office or a hospital soon because it may be something more important than just a leg pain with your toes hurting.

What does your doctor say?

Yes...Go have it checked out to see if you may have a circulation problem.
