For people with eating disorders, i think i have one, and honestly dont mind. advice please.?

i always try not to eat in order to become skinny...but i never have lost one pound. i always give in and it drives me crazy. i tried "self induced vomiting" or whatever its called yesterday.....i dont know what it does but i was really mad and upset. i have huge legs and im getting a pudgy stomach.

what im trying to do is decrease my portions until they disappear. im 5'9, currently 130-135lbs. and i want to be 100lbs by the summer. my 16th birthday will be in a month and i want to lose 15lbs by then. I'm doing crew (for 3 hours everyday except weekends) starting march 5. that'll be my exercise and then occasionally go to the gym. i know i need to start working out excessivly for my goal but thats alright. i can manage.

i will do anything to lose weight...but i've tried dieting and that NEVER works.i know the results from both diseases. please dont tell me that i dont have to do this, or that im not fat or effects that will occur...it'll just be a waste of your time.

thanks.

You need to see someone ASAP.
Eating disorders mess up you live and hurts not only you but the people who care about you.

Your healthy for your height - 100lbs really isn't
Please don't go down the ED route - it's very hard to break even if you think you can, you won't.

If you think you're flabby - exercise it'll tone you - slowly build up the ammount you do because your body becomes used to it and you won't get the effects.
Eat 2000 calories a day (balanced diet)
And drink your water as it detox's your blood.

As you excercise, don't expect to lose weight, muscle weighs more than fat. But as your a girl - you won't beef up like the guys do unless you start with the steroids.

I'm glad you're concerned about my wasting time, but I'm going to do it anyway. Use any BMI calculator - your weight is fine. And PS. throwing up (bulimia) will often not make you lose weight. Starving yourself won't help much either, your metabolism will slow down to nothing. You might as well quit the crew team - when you meet your goal of losing 15lbs in the next month, you will be too weak to participate. If you want to look good, develop muscle tone. The scale will go up, but so will your self esteem. I'd advise you to seek counseling, but as you say, I'd be wasting my time. Just do yourself a favor, print this question and all the response out and give them to your parents and teachers.

You should stop being such a dumbass, not hurt yourself and just eat healthy portions of healthy foods (veggies and lean protein), excersise for at least 20 mins a day. You will die, and so stop trying to make yourself throw up and stop restricting yourself. If you are not losing weight by eating healthily try eating less carbs.

Dumbass! Don't be Anorexic and don't ever be Bulimic. They die and are put in lock down facilities. You will have health problems later on, and you will make the ones you love suffer.

eating dissorders have ruined my life for the past 2 years. and i'm 15. i would give ANYTHING to have my life back.

For one...you are robbing your body of vital nutrients. Not eating slows the metabolism down to where it shuts off completely to conserve energy. You could fast 5 days and all you'll lose is water weight.

Best form of diet is to cut your portions to what a 5 year old would eat and eat 5 healthy meals a day. Smaller portions of healthy food will give your body more energy and add that with exercise 3-4 tiomes a week with 30-45 minutes of cardio and the pounds will fly off....plus you will not put your body into shock.

Starving yourself, binging, throwing up, causes severe damage to other body organs and should not even be considered. 5'9" and a 135 pound is very good. You do not want to go to 100 pounds for a 5'9" frame. You would look terrible! Get rid of fast food, carbs, fried foods, junk food.

I would suggest strength training with weights to tone the muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat but I would rather be healthy and weigh 135 and wear a 9/10 than be 100 pounds and wear a 12/14. (Been there-done that).

Also, men/boys don't necessarily like women who are skin and bones. You are 15 so get smart and quit playing the "I don't want to hear it" game.
